Luke at 2 months

 Luke is a fantastic little baby.  He is so content and smiley during the day.  He coos and laughs all the time and to my delight Luke is a GREAT sleeper. Luke has been sleeping well since birth.  Going until at least 5 since he was about a month. I am amazed that I can lay Luke in his bassinet wide awake and he will fall asleep on his own.  He has even slept peacefully from 10pm until 7:45 in the morning.  I realize how lucky I am to have such a good baby for #3.

Luke is also great at tolerating tummy time and at 7 weeks started rolling from his tummy to back. He is becoming adorably social and recognizing us and his sisters.  Megan and Kate love Luke and want to help all the time.  Meggie calls him my baby brother and tells us--I will get him, I will take care of him.  Kate wants to be his mini-Mom and is learning how best to interact with him like giving him a little space and talking in soft voices.  The girls argue over who can see him and who's turn it is to help Mommy bathe him.

Luke loves his sisters.  He is a little scared of Megan still (smart boy), but smiles all the time at Kate.  Luke also loves the bees on his fisher price gym mat, and when he catches glimpses of them he smiles and coos at them.  He is developing some delicious rolls and at 2 months weighs 15lbs 5oz and measures 24.5 inches long.

      

 He is a cute little boy and everyone tells us how dark complected he is.  With his little tan, his ear to ear adorable smile, and what appears like blue eyes and dark hair he is our little show stopper!  What a perfect little boy you are, Luke.   We all love you!
