For lent, I am taking on the task of being in communication with people I love. Thank includes all of you.
We are just beginning to feel like we have left the stress wind tunnel since September. We had to move in September, the boys started three new schools, my mom had a stroke, Grampa Davies fell three times, I quit my job, we renovated the house and I had surgery on my sinus. Yuck! [My other lenten practice is to stop cursing and I have only broken it a couple of times.]
Hey, did you check out Cheryl's blog this week? Big scoop! I tried calling Hope and Roy, but they were asleep I think (8:45 pm, but with DST). It was Hope's 89th birthday today. They are soo sweet to my boys. I never met any of my grandparents, my dad has been dead for 18 years and my mother has had dementia for 12 years. I think that makes me extra appreciative of their presence in my life.
